Amplifikasi DNA Kandidat Gen Kuda Pacu Sumba

The Sumba horse is one of the local horses in Indonesia which known as racing Several candidate genes are to influence outward characteristics racehorse, play main role development horse's muscles from embryo adulthood. This research aims identify for racehorse stallion and mares. Blood samples 5 stallions mares were collected analyzed. method used this was by using polymerase chain reaction (PCR), electrophoresis DNA sequencing. results amplification fragments at a temperature 600c showed fragment size 463 bp. A total 10 sequenced on PCR machine. forward primer 5'-TATTCTTCTTGGGAGGGAGGACTACT-3 'and reverse 5'-GCAAGTAATTAGCACAAAAATTTGAATG-3'. obtained data analyzed Basic Local Alignment Sealing Tool (BLAST). Result study could be an initial identification activity that can complement selection horses.
